Home draw against a fellow promoted side. Could of been worse, could of been better.

Been to every game apart from Peterborough when on holiday and for me these were the best team I have seen this season, played us off the park and should have been 7 or 8.  We are at home and a 50/50 game but with 80 teams in the draw, I would have picked about 70 teams to play before Exeter.

There’s loads worse than that draw. Everyone must have said at one point tonight “not them please “. Anyway , winnable and at home, plus we owe them.

... i probably said that to myself at least a dozen times.... as you say, there were tons of draws that would have been worse than Exeter at Vale Park. Definitely not a draw that Exeter fans like, judging by their reaction on The Word on Well Street.

Apparently it is Firework display at Vale on the Sunday so it's possible if Police won't do Stoke and Vale that we'll be Friday night.

.....I bet Exeter fans would really fancy a possible Friday afternoon trip up the M5/M6 and a late night journey home  !!

Maybe but we had no fit strikers that day and they’ve lost their manager since then so I think it’ll be a different game come the day.

Tedious draw to be honest. Just like having an extra league game and we only played them a few weeks ago, badly may I add. 
 

I just hope we win, but I doubt it will be a classic.

This is a tough draw but we are at home. A similar challenge to Accrington last season.

Exeter have a match on the Monday night against Plymouth which is live on Sky, and we play one the Tuesday so I think that this might get moved to the Sunday instead

Totally agree with your comments. It's one of the tougher ones,so fingers crossed we can get revenge for that early season humbling!
