  1. I think we'll see the following: Released: Leutwiler, Massey, Lowe, Wilson, Cass Offered a contract: Ikpeazu, Wynne, Walters, Shorrock Transfer listed/free to find another club: Jones, Grant, Clark, Loft. Retained: Ripley, Debrah, Smith, Iacovitti, Plant, Sang, Garrity, Ojo, Chislett, Dipepa Of that lot I think Ojo, Garrity and Chislett will all leave and there's a chance Dipepa will go and be loaned back.
  2. From what Bowers has said on his twitter ages ago, the BBC don't hold the right to broadcast and EFL commentary online. Talksport have it, yet rarely do they actually do it. They have it just for the play offs so they can do full commentary on them.
  3. Predicting an account closure in the next few days... Then the re-emergence of... BREADWINNER!
  4. Anyway, who's up for a Clarke-Harris and Bannan masterclass next season then?
  5. Christ on a bike man we can't sack them for being relegated even if we wanted to. And how much is it going to cost to pay them ALL off?? Some we can, not all of them. The best thing is that we can get their agents to find them another club. Your vendetta against Nathan Smith is a bit pathetic at this stage too. He is the least of our problems. You don't seem to have this same level of vitriol against James Wilson, who has arguably contributed less, nor Mitch Clark or Dan Jones, who have probably taken more money off the payroll combined than Nathan Smith and care less about the club than he does. It seems personal for you and is petty at best and vindictive at worst.
  6. Don't get the love in with Clark TBH. He's got just as much of an injury record as Wilson and Jones - don't see why he should be exempt.
  7. We won't lose games because of his interview technique is the point I'm making.
  8. I get that, I just think it doesn't really matter how a manager comes across in interviews as long as they ARE winning games. Being animated and angry if you lose 20 games in a row? People call you unhinged and incapable of keeping your cool. Being laid back and passive if you lose 20 games in a row? People say you don't care. Win 20 in a row and that anger is passion, and that passiveness becomes calm. Its all subjective.
  9. There are lots of lessons to learn from this season, not least of which we should have a greater focus on the pitch than off it if we are to get the paying fans back on side. I think Carol trusted Flitcroft so implicitly she felt she could concentrate on the off the field business (which she is actually quite good at), and leave the rest to him. She was naive to put that faith in him. I do actually feel a bit sorry for her. She did what she felt was right and given her lack of football knowledge, she let the football side be run by someone who convinced her he was right. He took her for a ride and he will now have no consequences for his part in this failure. A lot of the vitriol at her and to other fans is wrong. I'm not talking about the reasoned debate amongst people who actually have a measured view, rather than some of the reactionary lunacy on here mainly from people who can't spell and are quite happy for a pile on because they can feel better about themselves. That said, Carol isn't free from blame. She needs to take responsibility for this but the best thing to do is speak to people in the game with experience to decide the way forward. There are plenty of people out there with the club at heart she could turn to - malign the names all you want but Yates, Sproson and Foyle are all people who will have opinions, contacts and expertise to help turn things around, and I'd rather them have a say in what happens than another chancer like Flitcroft or God forbid Patrick be involved. Carol's got a lot wrong, but we can't sack every player, we can't change what's happened now, but we can hold her to account to get it right from now on because she has to acknowledge that the fanbase isn't happy and an unhappy fanbase doesn't put money into the club which she still needs.
  10. Conversely, we loved Clarke because he won games, not because he was aggressive in his interviews with someone just doing their job. I really don't think Moore's interview technique becomes a topic of conversation if we start winning games again.
  11. And somebody who played told me it doesn't, so we're both even aren't we? You might get the odd player who has taken money, but a whole team? That's ridiculous. We are bot a very good team. We were beaten by a better team who altered their tactics and got the better of us. I genuinely can't believe you think match fixing was going on given the context of the season. Our players would be richer than Manchester City's if they were taking bribes to lose. Isn't it far more likely were just not very good DIPEPA DELIGHT?
  12. Please stop this match fixing thing you keep saying. The players aren't corrupt - they're just not very good and low on confidence.
