  1. You cannot starve a man out who owns a business losing 160k a month and yet it’s totally self sufficient. Think about it.
  2. Absolutely spot on. Directors boxes would have been stormed by passionate fans long before now.
  3. It has to get nasty to get him gone. Only solution. Why for the life of me he stays when we are apparently losing 160k a month, I do not know. Oh yes. I do. The mans a crook and is fiddling Port Vale Football Club and its supporters.
  4. He isn’t qualified to be the chairman of a football club. As the face of the club he’s a total cringeworthy embarrassment! Would you like the man to be the face of your business? He’s probably a nice guy but shouldn’t be anywhere near being a chairman of a football club. I cringe whenever I see or hear him.
  5. If it is Fradley I will say this... There are many more people that want Tony Fradley out of our club than there are who want Aspin gone. I’m certainly one of them. The man paid to become chairman. Money the club didn’t see by the way and as the representative of our club, he’s a total and utter embarrassment.
  6. It was the ONLY expectation, considering the **** he inherited when he took over!!!
  7. For all the doom and gloom merchants, we are 25-1 to go down. Have a punt. On New Year’s Day we were 11 points off the drop. Today we are 7 points off the drop. Oh and again, for all the doom and gloom merchants, explain that because we haven’t won have we? Aspo has played it safely and set us up not to lose. We haven’t really been in any immediate danger and I don’t expect that will happen anytime soon. We’ll be safe this season. Next season is a different matter unless Norman sells up. I dread to think what our budget will be but I would hazard a guess as in the bottom 4 of this league.
  8. To those of you who are saying Aspin shouldn’t have said this or even acknowledging that backstabbing is part and parcel of football, wake up. Aspo made his feelings known about Gunning. He’s making his feelings known now. I’m sure he could say a hell of a lot more and probably wants to but can’t because of his position. The club is in a huge mess. I very much doubt he is on about players. The clubs cancer lies at the very top and those in and around him. Aspo is not one to take any **** and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him walk in the summer.
  9. I would never judge anyone on their “lifestyle”. We all have our issues and who knows what triggers certain things. Lee Hughes being “bankrupt” is hardly news. He probably still has more money than you and me. I’ll judge people on how I see them in person. Lee Hughes was full of remorse for what he did and came across as a good man on the occasion I met him.
  10. Don’t put enough pressure on him and watch your club rot even more. If he put us into liquidation he would need to watch over his shoulder for the rest of his life. Not even he has the balls to do that.
  11. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him announce that the club is up for sale and he is willing to sell. Then he will not listen to genuine offers, like the last time. This bides him more time and before we know it the seasons over and he has a lovely hassle free summer. Whatever comes out of his pathological lying mouth next week, pressure must be applied before the end of the season to get him out.
  12. If the whole squad were let go tomorrow, I dare say a maximum of 5 of them would get league contracts. Time for certain wasters at the club, even if they don’t care about Port Vale, to step up and play for their careers.
  13. Exactly the same happened last season. The fans united. Supported the players. We went down. The season finished and Norman his away and the fans carried on with their everyday lives. If that happens this season then it’s RIP PVFC. This man needs forcing out as soon as possible. Footballing matters will take care of itself. We haven’t won a game in over two months and fans have been great so it won’t affect what goes on on the pitch.
  14. The sad FACT is that despite what’s gone on in the past, some brain dead supporters continue to throw their anger at the managers door. There isn’t many braincells in these people because they cannot see the common denominator in the whole sorry debacle. Sack Aspin. Then what? Port Vale Football Club is on life support and has been for 12 months. If you have an ounce of support for Norman Smurthwaite, you are accountable for killing the club.
  15. I can understand that but since our great run in December we still haven’t lost a game at home. I’d say we went attacking against Colchester and were lucky to get a 2-2. Yeovil and Morecambe weren’t great. Yesterday was dire. We aren’t losing home games though so that has to be something to cling on to. Like it or not, our squad is up there with the worst in the league and I’m sure Aspin knows this. He will get us over the line I’m sure but we are screwed for the future. A few having a pop at Aspo. Fair enough. Questionable selections and tactics at times. I won’t call the man out on it though. He’s got a huge task, with some Sunday morning players and a Sunday morning budget.
