FA Cup First Round

So we're ball No36 on Monday night for the draw of the First Round.

 

Hit me up Valiants - who would you love you get in the draw.

For me I'd like us to get a fairly easy draw and get through until the Prem clubs join the competition; then I'd like to get some team like Villa or Forest.

So, for this round, i'd love us to get MK Dons, Burton or Morecombe from EFL1 or someone like Rochdale or maybe Crewe/Walsall from EFL2.

What did you get arrested for?

I remember Paul Kerr scoring in the very last minute at Chester back in the day

This was in the mid-70's and I was 15; my best m8 and I were in the away end along with the VLF, I had my colours on and my m8 hadn't.  Suddenly he got attacked by a couple of their fans and it all kicked off; I had a choice to run away or dive in and try and pull him out.  So, I dived in and next thing I know I'm getting whacked around the head by a copper with his truncheon and I get arrested.

Taken to Chester Police Station - kicked about a bit and chucked in a cell.

Finally got processed at midnight and they realised I was 'a minor' - they charged me and passed me to a social worker who then dropped my at Crewe on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border around 2am.  I then had to walk back home in Castle.

Went to court 6 months later - and I kid you not the copper name was Piggot, and I got found not guilty.

Fair play to him he took me, my Dad and my best m8 for a cuppa afterwards and he apologised

Wimbledon away please. Only ground in bottom 2 divisions I haven't been to.

Barring that Crewe will do.

The only thing annoying me with the cup this year is that Derby at home is 3rd round day so is highly likely to be moved to a Tuesday night ,however we clearly want to progress and get a biggy .

How about York? the return of Askey and Hurst. Failing that Buxton would be a local-ish opponent.

how about a 'poor' non league side at home... might give us a better chance of progressing.  Not quite sure why many people want another league side...

Newcastle United for me, totally forgettable day all round....blame Titanic Wreckage and black resin! Minibus breakdown on the way back n'all....crap day out 😥
