No, why else would I be asking?  In all honesty if your “interesting snippet” was the only thing from the meeting worth commenting on then I’m rather glad I chose to stay in sharpening pencils.

There was plenty to report both from David Dunn and Colin Garlick but folk on here don’t seem interested so I didn’t bother. Glad to hear you’ve still got a bit of lead in your pencil.

On the contrary, I think folk would be only too pleased to read more of the comments from DD and CG.  Not everyone can attend these meetings, plus on this occasion it seems that not everybody knew of the meeting.

I couldn’t possibly comment on your last line.

Usually the meetings are announced on the website and via the SC email but apparently there are some issues with these at the moment which they are trying to sort. Also, Mike Baggaley does a blow by blow account on the Senile website but he was on holiday last week

Other points to emerge were that a completely new pitch will cost £1.25 million. Dunn thinks Forrester will play at a higher level. He also thinks we need to tighten up the defence. The idea of a new training ground has been put on the back burner. Much discussion about the Swindon fine which had angered the club because of the one sided nature of the report. Lots of stuff about why Hamil Road is being shut after games - down to the Police and the Council, nowt to do with the club.  Other stuff that I can’t remember!

1.25 million, that’s a lot of money to find, can’t see us doing it tbh unless we get some big unexpected windfall.

Hello again, was kinda hoping I wouldn’t see you guys for a while, no offence. Glad it’s on the Saturday though. Probably a terrible draw for both of us really, we have to travel and play a difficult side away from home and you have to play a good side under a new manager when you could have got a minnow. Then again, you probably think we are a minnow. Ouch.

Anyway, I might get up there early and grab an oatcake from a proper oatcake shop this time. Any recommendations?

These are the best oatcakes now.Just a little bit out of town so depends on how you are gettinh here.Fully recommend these -

Where is the marketing for this game?

The only thing I can find is the banner on the main website which quotes league prices. Advertising adult tickets at £24 when they're actually £15 is pretty appalling.

Another simple mistake (along with the erroneous coach ticket departure time) which simply shouldn't happen. Is there a Stoke fan working for us as a  saboteur? It's the only explanation.
