I still don’t think we play a style to suit the signing of a Louis Dodds style player. A total waste of a loan. A player like that needs to get the ball to feet and play off him, with runners around him, not launch it at him in the air or shove him out on the wing. What was the point if the system we play was never going to be flexible.

6 players have exited, 3 have come in. Although I don't think we can count on Elliott being a first team player.

 

By my reckoning we absolutely still need to bring in 2 players. As I keep saying, we need some creativity in the side out wide. There is no point signing all these strikers if they haven't got any service. Harry Kane could be up front for us and he wouldn't score.

 

I'd like to see 2 wide-men come in before the window shuts, with no further outgoings.

Their approach play and passing game, with some good attacking players like George Maris, Reggie Lamb and Devani Brown, has been much better than their league position would imply, so if they can make this work, they will definitely climb the table. Good signing for them.

He's played 41 minutes in the last 12 months and not at all since October. If we'd signed him with that record some on here would have gone into meltdown.
