Conlon's role imo has been tweaked abit. He plays as a more defensive midfielder as oppose to a play maker now. Obviously he still has the playmaker to do, but I think he's set out to be more defensive now. I also think he's doing it very well. He wins so many challanges and nicking the ball it's unreal. -

Er never said you said that he was rubbish today [emoji4] thing is with gibbo, wozza, Wilson and whoever the other is be it the politician, Rodders, Amoo, Proctor we are causing chaos in defences when we are on it. Out of all of them, one will create the spaces, drag defenders out of position pretty much all the time. Very clever from DC and is very intelligent play. UTV -

Good result today. They were woeful up front. A better team would've punished us, but they weren't and didn't so up too second we go. Good job lads. Waiting at the bus stop to go home atm and two guys moaning about Vale and DC [emoji849][emoji848] you seriously couldn't make it up. UTV -
As we've seen we struggle against teams that play a high press, high intensity against us. We also struggle against physically dominant sides. We don't seem to react quick enough to change things up if we aren't coping. What formations and tactics should be our counter when we are faced with these?

Not great, but I'll Rob a point all day long heheh We are going to have these games. Mansfield deserved a point, or too win. We didn't! This was always a potential hiccup imo and nearly was Put it behind us and let's go Saturday. -

Did what we had to do that half. We are lacking composure tho it's all to frantic! Sublime free kick from Tom [emoji108] And Lucas take a bow son [emoji23] Looking forward t the second half it will be a cracker. UTV -
There's a difference between constructive criticism and analysis, over knee jerk reaction and putting the offender in the stocks to have tomatoes pelted at him [emoji534][emoji23]

Spot on. It's one of them, if he appears 'anonymous' during a game, he's doing his job,and doing it well. That's what he's there for.

Well played lads and nice one DC for changing formation and the subs. Obviously swung the game for us. The game was a bit like game of thrones!! So refreshing to have a manager confident and able to make the proper changes when needed. UTV

At the moment I can't see us winning this. Two sides playing the same formation is pretty much nullifying both teams. A moment of brilliance or a mistake will win it. The foul for the free kick was a foul and ridiculous to challenge like that and give the free kick away Covalon should have saved it. Simple as that. Two mistakes led to the goal. Has Covalon actually made a save this season? Maybe one or two, but he's also cost us alot of goals. Come on Vale!!
