Also, how many tickets can you buy when on general sale?

Its always been the same as Season Ticket Holders before ie 2  - Dont expect to be able to roll up and get 20 ..... As these sort of requests generally come from Spivs /Ticket touts.  If you roll up on the last day they are on sale and they have loads left then you can normally have as many as they have because A) they don't want to have to send/take them back to Man City and B) If , in their eyes, you are a tout then its your job to try and sell them in a very short time period and, as Vale have sold them already then they count towards Vales Share. I got all that info from someone who USED to work in the ticket Dept.  It may be out of date now but it still seems a reasonable stance to me.

I don’t think 4 tickets for a family is an unreasonable amount

Interesting that general sales start after the Cheltenham game. Whilst vale fans inside watch the game, a queue of day trippers will be forming outside the ticket office, first in line even though they haven't bothered going to watch a home match. Or have I got that wrong?

Thats why I used the example of 20 - You could convince them that 2 adults and 2 kids is reasonable as a family, as would 2 adults and 3 kids say. These questions you need ask directly of the ticket office, but as folk have already found out they are gearing up for the big day tomorrow. Why not ask someone on here to act on your behalf and ask specific question(s) when they queue up tomorrow, and then feed the answers back. Sorry I cant help further as we are getting one of the office lads to queue up with the season tickets on Friday.

Do the flex 10 tickets count as season ticket

I asked that question at the ticket office last season. The answer I was given was yes, flex 10 ticket holders viewed the same as ST holders .

I want to know the answer to that one too. I have emailed the ticket office but I suspect they are busy right now. If I hear back I will post on here.

When I bought tickets for Macc and Scunthorpe games was told they would only do phone sales and post to people outside of SoT. So assuming the principle is the same?

One idea would be to need a Cheltenham  ticket stub/voucher to join the queue?

Yeah, didnt realise at the time that they were on general sale up to 2oclock so I guess people would get them whilst they get their match ticket. However some people wont be able to get there early and might have pre bought tickets.

Website says general sales start on the Sunday. Only ST can buy before and after Cheltenham.

As a Vale fan based away from Stoke on Trent it’s a shame a bit as assuming the phones won’t get answered which as it’s a small ticket office may be the case, might mean 120 mile round trips twice in two days! Cheltenham at home followed by up to Vale to ensure I can get a general sale ticket.

Explain to the ticket office that you live away.  Take a stamped addressed envelope with you to the Cheltenham game and ask if they will post you a ticket when they go on general sale.

Thanks Jean. However, I live away and I'm trying to get two adult and three junior tickets. Does anyone know what the limits are - I don't fancy driving the whole family up just to collect five tickets. Are there going to be any telephone sales?

I have just had an email from the ticket office. I said as someone out of the area would it be possible to buy tickets over the phone on Sunday. Their answer was that it was possible and the phone line will be available during the same hours that the office is open on Sunday. I didn't get an answer on how many tickets I could get but I hope that helps some of the exiles.
