Be a good start if we could stop playing ourselves into trouble. Massey left Clark in trouble on the edge of the box with an underhit pass that saw Clark get taken out by the forward. Chislett has just played them in with a backwards header that needed a big save from big CR to stop it being 1-0. Need to cut out any complacency.

So far, this is upsetting.

Yeah I am gutted, 0-0 away to top of the league at HT while not playing well. We have had a few games this season where we have been not our best in the first half then Crozza sorts it out at HT and we come away with something, usually the win (barring the first game)

Definitely take it but I’d like to see us offer something going forwards. Wilson has been very poor and nothing has stuck, Thomas on for him. Plant is being targeted again and has been caught out a few times, grant on for him. Defence done well, smith and yak look solid and keeper very good again. Arblaster, Massey, Chislett, Wilson not in the game. Good side these are but they haven’t created too much.

Good luck to you.

Vale competed and defended well, kept their shape and didn't allow Oxford any clear cut chances.

They are a neat passing side, the No 18, McGuane looks really good on the ball. A few of their players have thrown themselves to the ground and conned the ref to give a foul.

Nice to nick one here and come away with the pts. .

Very passive first half after the first 5 mins.

Cass looks shaky, Plant isn’t a LWB, midfield have struggled with their numbers in the middle, Massey has been poor and Wilson anonymous.

The positive is we are still level, have only need Ripley on one serious occasion and hopefully the manager can do something to change the flow of the game because we’ve done nothing in the last 40 mins bar chase them knocking it around.
