For me, this match is the litmous test of how/if/where we've improved as a club from last season. Last season we were tonked by them. I will take a draw, love a win. I think rippers saves us the effect of conceding 2 goals a game from what I've seen. An end to end 1-0 to the tiny club with a 4 sided ground is my bet.

Not really a litmous test for me, I can already see we are far improved from last season whatever the result on Saturday. Was my worst away trip of last season, missed the start of a game for the first time in years, and we were one down before I even got in the ground, just got worse from there.

Will be going down with confidence on Saturday, looks like they've probably improved since last season, but we are a lot better side than they faced last year. Quite tempted to lump on us at 4/1 actually, pay for the trip!

Lost all 5 times we have played at the kassam including that dreadful 4 nil game last season. Very likely we will lose Saturday but our target is 50 points and to avoid relegation that 6th place we are in is a false league position really.
Wow hopefully the players have more belief in there ability, forward together Super Vale Away, results are on the day, lots of effort some skill and a little bit of luck can turn the score in your favour,

Point be ok but after this we have 5 games we will be well fancied in of which 4 are at home so a great chance to build on momentum, hence anything here would be a huge boost going into those fixtures.

20% of the way to the first target (safety) so keep going and try to get to that target as quick as possible and who knows after that.

Does anybody know how tickets sales have gone? I think we took about 950 last season and I see you can pay on the day.

This is a nightmare place to get to on public transport from Liverpool. That's mainly because the city traffic is log jammed. Giving it a miss this year.

This is where we find out how much the defence has improved. Play well at the back with the keeper diving round a bit and a good result can be achieved. I would be surprised if Oxford are actually a top of the table team that will storm their way to promotion. You never know, but I suspect we can reduce their lofty status if we play well and, in particular, don't concede an early goal changing the dynamics of the game.
