Not listened to P&G at all this season but out of interest:

1. Has Bryn been on blarting yet?

2. Has Carl been on since the Barnsley game (I'm presuming there that he would definitely have been on after the Barnsley match!)?

Bryn was getting the bus and ticker tape ready after they beat Rotherham on the opening day. Emotional he was .

I agree. Who was the commentator?

Simon Humphrys.  Used to be head of news on Signal but is now freelance.  I think he’s the go to guy when Phil Bowers is otherwise engaged - Phil had the Sjoke gig last weekend and I often wonder how often he has to bite his tongue when covering Incinerator City with him being a Vale fan.

The 1772 League cup winner's still have delusions of grandeure I fear ......

I enjoy it as much when they loose as I do when the Vale win I don't mind admitting......🤔😁

The delusions are never far away. One caller trotted out the old chestnut of Alex Neil getting them to the Premiership "back where we belong"

1. Not yet, still convinced they will win the league.

2. Yes in fairness to him came on and ate Humble pie.

Some comments from Mark Harris on his red - https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/23772909.oxford-united-striker-mark-harris-red-card-port-vale/

It seems staggering that he's the latest opposition player to be (for want of a better phrase) wound up by Smudge.

He's probably the best practitioner of the dark arts in the lower leagues.

I've just looked at his stats which are frankly staggering considering how many times he is involved in these sort of incidents. Smith has had 25 yellows and no reds during his 359 appearances. In that time we've seen at least 4/5 opposition players dismissed after clashing with him and yet he's never been dismissed himself (probably tempting fate here but hopefully not)...

One booking every 14 games!

That's roughly 3 a season.

Phenomenal.

I think it plays a part in his constant availability - never injured (touch wood) and very, very rarely picks up enough bookings to be suspended (again, touch wood).

This season he has NO yellows despite the spats with Messrs Carroll and Harris.

Divine intervention sounds like Breadwinner: VFIA.

If it is Breadwinner, then I’d like to get their opinion on Mitch Clarkes performances so far given they were very set against him joining the club because of the betting breaches which Breadwinner strongly felt was far betting against his former club
