Agreed. That was my number 1 priority after the play-off final. Sadly, it still is.

Stone wasn't a bad keeper in our L2 playoff run in. I felt we'd found our "number 1" finally after the poor performances of Covolan and Holy etc.

But this season he's been the worst keeper in the league, which the stats show in terms of save %. 

Maybe L2 was just his ceiling? Or maybe it's just a very bad run of form?

If we are to progress, and be ruthless, I'd say he will be released.

Despite what the management team said I think Cov was the expected No.1 with Stone providing the competition.  We all know what happened there, but I think Stone is an acceptable back up option if we can find a decent first choice.  I wouldn’t particularly go down the route of having a young kid as our reserve keeper myself, it’s too much of a gamble given our recent history with injuries.

He is on loan from Chelsea I believe. Looked very good, the save from Ellis was superb but the reaction save with his legs through a crowded area from Worralls strike was even better.

You can't polish a <ovf censored>, sometimes there's only so much you can do.

He's moved onto the forwards...Wilson and Proc injured,Mipo does the shopping, Butters is injured,Ellis can't head the ball,Politic can't get a game,Taylor can't score.

Then he'll move onto the left backs,sorry,left back...
