He had a point to prove to them and played out of his skin, man of the match performance . Unfortunately for every Wigan game there were 20 where he didn't turn up, he was not alone in doing that. He came with high hopes from me but failed to deliver in my opinion but hey it's all about opinions.

And ironically his next best game was against Leyton Orient, another former club.
