Match Thread: Port Vale v Milton Keynes D

Now we have strikers on the pitch, lets hope more goals will come along to give us the points at the final whistle that the performances deserve. This is a month of opportunity, with no games against the top 9, but points still must be earned.  First up, MKD with both wins this year away, at FGR and Brissel, with a trip to the Imps mid-week to come. Don’t let them settle Vale, points in the bag please.

Would go with Jack back in goal for Stone. He has his flaws also but Stone is simply not cut out for this level and likely never will be. Other than that same again. We’ve got a week until the next game so I don’t want to hear about sports science or anything like that as a reason we are resting someone. Best available 11 and get stuck into the franchise.

A terrible defeat away from home against these. Lost all 3 without scoring and the Vale charity rolled into town to help them out.

Clearly a poor team as they've been bottom 4 pretty much all season.

Any chance of a comfortable win given that our biggest home win all season is by a single goal.

Really don't know what to expect so I'll plump for 1-1 .

Is that true? We’ve only won by the odd goal at home.

Don't think that's the case. Last season had home record of 13 wins from 23.

They are a poor side home or away hence their league placing. Perfect home fixture for us.

Probably a much different team and manager last season when in the Play-offs.
