It doesn't! The idiot is just keeping a negative thread going to prove his point and continue to piss off those of us who've had the sense to ignore him! If another club is paying their player's wages while he's on loan to us, then it doesn't break our pay structure and doesn't come out of our budget!

Well it does when you pay some of his wages

Amen to this.
I've blocked several yet they are still continuing to post absolute tripe which doesn't show on my feed, but it does on others I can see.
It is a forum, people are entitled to their opinions but Lord help us...
Those with wholly negative 'opinions' always bleat about their right to them and then start blarting about being 'shut down' when they're challenged. Funny thing is, those posters rarely seem to have a positive 'opinion' when things are going well. Which simply means that they have an agenda, not a genuinely held opinion.

So we waited all summer for the right man, and rumours say its uche! You couldn't make this tripe up if you tried! 😂😂😂😂

I dunno if its a rumour, more of a discussion point. I certainly haven't seen his name mentioned as a serious target anywhere just a few people chatting on here or twitter about the merits of bringing him in.

I see that Politic didn't feature tonight for Cremonese, either in the team, or on the bench, in their first round Coppa Italia game. Could be injured I guess, but might be worth a cheeky bid! Hardly played at all last season.

Let it go mate, that’s ships sailed 🥲

You have obviously never worked in an environment where there are salaried employees and contractors earning far more money than them. There can be quite a lot of resentment from the lower paid permanent staff.

Ridiculous trying to apply real world logic to football (not for the first time). So someone like Sammy Robinson is sitting there feeling unhappy because James Wilson is being paid more than him?

He will be RZ but there is no way we are paying his salary. Perhaps a small contribution but it would be very limited and keeping within the budget.

FWIW I was in the club a few years ago and noticed a whiteboard on the managers wall with salaries on there, a list for the players budget, including loan players. That was 3 years ago and at that time one of the loans was higher than everyone else’s. Whether it was his full wage or a percentage I don’t know.

I think Sammy Robinson would expect James Wilson to be paid more than him, otherwise there is no aspiration to improve himself in order to earn more.

AN Exeter fan on the match thread clarified the Blackman situation.  Scott Brown connection and they can point to the way Cam Dawson progressed last season.

You only need to look at what happened last weekend to see that we couldn’t trust Lucas.  If we can’t trust a player there’s no point in that player hanging around.  We then have to get the best deal we can, which I’m sure we have.  It’s a risk having no cover for Stone but it’s not unknown for teams to name one keeper.  Our real  problems lie at the other end of the pitch.

Cam Dawson didn't progress that well to be fair. Getting splinters in his butt at Sheff wed is not progress.

Being first choice at at Wednesday is progress .

Yet he appears so gentle, jovial, good humored, calm etc etc off the field when interviewed. People run onto a football pitch and their personality changes.

Having played as a defender and mainly as a goalie - I always wanted to win the ball and would quite happily take out defenders or opposition to get the ball when in goal or defence if they were in the way.  However, knew not to tread on the opposition or kick out at them when the ref and linesmen were watching.  I would shout "my ball"  and my defence knew I was coming for it - fair game if I called for the ball and I clattered them.

I am a gentle and jovial person, but when I crossed the line wanted to win like most people would.  However, sometimes people get that red mist and can't help themselves and this seems to be his problem when the opposition winds him up - he has to go back at them in some way.

Our coach taught us that trick and said you will get a way with it most times.  When you go to collect the all in the air come down and hit them with an elbow to the collar bone.  This would be used if they had clattered me - and then claim I was coming down with the ball and accident as you pull the ball into your chest.

Would love to see him in a Vale shirt again but I think the problem for him is how often will he start here if we keep the present formation? I know his club got promoted to Serie A and I think DF said playing in Italy is something he wanted to do but it doesn’t seem to have kicked on for him over there at all.

I had a short debate on one of the fb groups with another Vale fan on Politic earlier in the summer(who didn't agree with me), personnally I'd drive him to VP myself if he was available and wanted to sign.  I appreciate he was mainly of impact off the bench but he was one of those players who got you off you seat and could single handedly change a game(Orient and Barrow at home were the 2 I think plus obviously the Burton cup game). I also don't think he was 100% fit during his spell with us either.

Young enough to get better as well.  Sadly I don't see it happening due to wages but I'd love him back in a vale shirt.

Politic also was a star man in League one for Bolton before he got injured , so he has proven he has the ability in League 1

I was gutted we didn’t keep Harratt I know a few games prior to Wembley he was not the best but certainly came  into his own the last few games, I thought some of his link up play was excellent. Ironically he would have had  more games for us than Bradford. Frustrating I know it was out of our hands but very disappointing.
