Granted there are differences, most of the work in football takes place outside for example. There are parallels in that the loan player is effectively an agency worker. I think it is easy to underestimate the level of resentment it is possible to generate in any working environment.

So to Summarise RZ’s recent posts Sammy Robinson would resent a loan player being paid more money than he earns because it is being paid by Southampton, but would not and should not resent James Wilson earning more and being paid it by PVFC.  The latter should be an. Inspiration.

Why not? Wilson is an experienced player but Small is younger than Robinson and probably has more money than him despite having less experience.

The right player at the right time for the right price IF they become available. Hmmmm, I do worry these players may not become available or someone else will see them as the right player for them and be happy to pay a higher price. Fingers crossed we get at least 1 forward in before the weekend. Can’t play a 17 midfielder up top again in league 1

we let perfect be the enemy of good.

we want brilliant players + pass the personality test + fit all the data stuff + fit the system + wants a wage within our cap + hasn't already been signed + isnt been offered more by clubs with bigger budgets 

admirable optimism but its a very long wish list and we have to question why weve missed out on targets so far. we may have to break one of the criteria

Everyone just needs to chill on the signings. I'd rather have nobody than a Guthrie, Robinson or similar. It's asking a lot, but can we continue to have a little faith in a week that we lost our first match of the season? Yeah?

Exactly I am beginning to think we reassess our Buying Pitch.

Regards the Financial side, I can agree with the club’s way of working.

But this question of the player has to suit the club, have the right profile, don’t upset the Dressing Room etc.

Surely the Man Management side is part of the Manager’s Role and sometimes he might have to change a player’s attitude etc. it is why we have a manager otherwise we would only need a Footballing Coach.
