We need to remember that some of the players who come in are purely for the B squad and ones that the club hope will be for the future,they wont be for the squad now

Not directed at yourself but just saying this before OVF goes into complete meltdown if we sign a young defender,I dont believe he is one who DC is on about when he said deals are close. I guess we will look at a lot of young lads released by clubs

Hopefully this ones fit

More for the B squad I think than the first team

We now know that its the way the club want to go in picking up released young players and working with them in the hope they can be first team ready in time and hopefully finding that future saleable asset

Can you imagine Alex Ferguson or Pep Guardiolla allowing players dictate things, I don’t think so and this should filter down the leagues with Decent Owners and Good Managers which we currently have, I believe.

Would that be the same Alex Ferguson who’s earliest actions included getting rid of top players Norman Whiteside and Paul McGrath because they were bad characters to have around the club irrespective of their playing ability?  
 

Agree Far better to prevent a bad apple entering than be stuck with them and trying to get rid

Wow it really has paid off to wait until the end of the transfer window to get CR7. I'm a bit concerned he's not going to fit our system and not sure how the other lads will feel a player on more money than them.

I'm sure DC can mange it.

I actually moved on to players that have ever worked in McDonald's, but it was proving a bit to hard work.
