that was a shambles and a disgrace to the shirt. only ojo came out of that game with any credit - it was like the whole side turned up and thought fuckit were safe now . have we even got the money to go any further? weve not really turned up apart from 30 minutes against derby at home since boxing day and its worrying. the home form is shocking and putting out a side with no forwards is asking for it.

I'm sure if he'd had any fit forwards he would have played them and that's what it boils down to.

It's a worry m8 there's no way we have the mental strength /belief to compete with top 8 /10 in this league .
It's really hard we want the fans come to Vale park then proceed to play that badly that many will walk away .
The slide has started no doubt about it .
The players well have there win bonuses being stopped because I get the impression they have on recent performances.
Smith was in our team when we got relegated from this league before ,seriously do folk think he is good enough for league 1 I don't think so .
Thats one of them mentioned I could go through quite a few of them but not going bother .
Out of all cups.
All better performances away .
I want see players who grace Vale park not half hearted rubbish.
We will be around bottom 6 come end of the season .
Today was abject but you know what hurts the most the players didn't seem too bothered about it yet another defeat at home when crowds are decent .

Breadwinner. Give Smith a break. Yes poor pass today, poor clearance v Derby and he does have a mistake in him.

Play him center and he will certainly be player of the year this season. He is having a good season. I think even you have commented that you have liked an appearance of smiths this season.

We iron out the wobbles at the back, get our strikers back and start to grind some results together. Do you really think DC is going to just sit back and accept that? He’ll expect a huge response and ring the changes ASAP I’m sure. We’ll be fine, but this league is so tight that it would be criminal to be complacent about the drop if you’re bottom- 10th. I never have been and I'm certainly not now.

You talk about mental strength and then give Politic a higher mark than Smith. Politic goes missing but Smith never hides even though played in a position he's not comfortable with. Played in the middle of three more often than not he is man of match.

I don't think it is a massive problem to put right. Play players in their best positions and drop ones who are under-performing. Seeing as we're down to the bare bones and haven't recruited properly or professionally, it may mean adapting our formation to what we have available.

Just getting the strikers back fit should see us right, assuming no injuries elsewhere of course.  The biggest problem being not only have they got to regain fitness but match sharpness.
