So what are you saying all the managers who played him are wrong ? Been going to Vale since 1969 and watched them on 86 grounds but I also have mates/relations who are Stoke fans if that's ok with you. It is a forum and you are allowed a opinion and so am I about the crap you post. -

Smith as been poor this season in a lot of games. Not just him and only a few come out with any credit. But you constantly berate him and you can barely write a post without mentioning him, it's obsessive. He did not make himself captain. Played 400 games under different managers who just may know there football a tad better than you. Folk actually find you funny, laughing at you not with you. -

Summer transfer rumours and speculation

We have got nothing to worry about. The recruitment team work two windows in front so all the new signings are raring to go 🙄 -
Don't then mate I stopped doing it 5 years ago I won't stop mate but trying to not get down when lose and to up when we win

Never going let this club spoil my weekend again.

Every team can look back over the season and say "what if"

I would not think that was true. Experiencing a relegation fight would be part of his learning and would be good for him to be involved in that.
-
I think DM needs to be flexible with the group of players he as got at his disposal. He needs to change players, systems to try and get the points he requires. No doubt with his own players he would have his own system like at Shef Wed.

I have not named or knocked Flitcroft.

Credit should be given then if we were rated 91 from 92. We still produced Baylee, James Plant, Rhys Walters, Jack Shorrock, Liam Brazier Tommy Mcdermott and Ben Lomax. As well as selling Joel Ndala to Man City and a scouse boy, forgot his name to Huddersfield. Can you imagine what we would have produced if we were 90 from 92.

The groundwork was done at a early age. Vale took him when other clubs wouldn't, I was there. Sevvy and his staff showed patience and care in the early days to enable him to get to where he is now. The ability was always there but other clubs/scouts would not take the chance.

We got him towards the end of his career and he oozed class. RIP Billy.
