The linesman was a joke in the second half. He seemed to think that attacking players aren't allowed past defenders at any time. And the ref was just going with whatever the home fans told him to do

I still think its tactics. We have players in the squad who can create a goal and players who can finish. I'd also bring back Dior Angus who has scored once again today. He is surely a better option than the loanees coming off the bench minimum? Although I'd like to see him playing 4 4 2 with both up front.

Let’s be honest, that was awful from both sides. We’re scraping our way to mid table safety. Well done to the fans who made the trip . Standing on an open terrace in the rain ? Aspin should be called one striker pony. I am sure if we had the best two strikers in the division, Aspin and Co would still play one striker up front and one on the bench.

Aspin's after match report said it all. A point away is good and would always take a point away.

 

Vale had the chance to get three points today if Aspin and Co set it up right - but he was happy for a point so set it up that way.

Both teams were poor, both lacked a quality player to put their foot on the ball, Macc shaded the first half, Vale the second, Vale had a good shout for a pen in the 2nd half. IMHO neither team deserved to win.

 

Macc 100% deserved to win the match.

We need a change of manager, his style of play and tactics are driving fans away. Let’s see what Boxing Day brings.... if we lose I think Smurf should consider getting rid of Aspo - it’s boring as!
