I don't think we're going stay up and I think most fans have accepted that now. At least the players put some effort in last night at Leyton Orient even though we could still have lost it at the end we did have chances to win also. The first 3 home games of the season we beat reading, carlise and Northampton all 1 nil, we could do with doing that on Saturday just to give us abit of confidence to show we can win and score goals plus keep clean sheets. Oxford got thrashed by Bolton last night no idea if Oxford were terrible or Bolton played well or if Oxford had alot out injured but we arnt capable of putting 5 past a team so grinding out a 1 nil is the best we can do really. Oxford are a better side than us and should beat us comfortably something like 2 nil but hopefully we can grind out a 1 nil win.

This is down to which team is worse on the day.  Who makes the biggest mistakes and if the players can take advantage of those mistakes.  You read fans comments on their forums and they say they are bad, very much like our fans are doing.

Big game - will the players turn up or go missing.

Bolton settled the game with the 2nd and 3rd goals, a goalkeeper/defender error the other a wicked deflection. The other 3 were classic defence splitting moves likely to happen in our penultimate game, so I would not expect points there. How will Oxford react? Still have hope of the POs, likely to be a demanding game.

Hopefully take a bit of heart from the clean sheet last night and build from that.

If, and it’s a big if, we can score first then the atmosphere won’t get killed stone dead like it has in recent home games which should help the players no end, at least until the last 15 - 20 minutes of the game when everyone will be clenching their buttocks if the score remains a goal or 2 in our favour…..

Would it be 3 wins in 30 if we fail to win on Saturday?

Yes.

After last night it's 3 wins in 6 whole months too. Saturday will be day 183.

as Pboro away isn't until April 16th, it'll be at least 743 days since the last Tuesday night league win, over 2 years, another proud record for the club. Don't win that and with the summer break we're looking at getting on for 2 and a half years since the last win.

Mental, we did have a horrific Sunday record for years at one point a few years back until we beat Hartlepool 4-0 in the cup but Sunday games are far rarer than Tuesday games!

Ffs Doha please stop
On a serious note tho, surely the powers to be are aware of these sorts of diabolical stats?
