I’d say neither. Regardless how the season ends I think there needs to be some honest discussions about what’s gone wrong but I don’t want us to go down the road of just change the manager / DOF etc at the first sign of trouble and show we can learn from mistakes and do a better job next time.

Ultimate responsibility is the DOF. He goes in May. Depends on what DC has been told to do but his wiki page looks very similar history wise at the Gas as it does us.

My own view is that he was employed to make footballing decisions that Carol feels she isn’t qualified to make.

The most important thing for people to remember in all this is that Carol is a fan first and foremost.  Inevitably this will affect her decision making to some degree, as it would any of us.  Employing a DoF, or whatever, should, in theory, take some of the emotion out of the decision making process and add a more dispassionate view.
