I can already hear the groans as the ball is circulated across the back three about 20 minutes in, with indignant cries of 'get it forward!'.

Will that be before or after they start repetitively screaming that Clarke can't afford another poor January transfer window like the one he had last year, then dissappearing for 10 months?

I think he is on about the posters, not DC. 
 

at least we haven’t had any season over posts quite yet but any new signings will be slated by people who’ve never seen them play as is the same every window for us.

Morecambe are 22nd in the away league table and haven't won for five games, so we could be tempted to think this is going to be a runaway. Quite surprised though at how good their squad seems on paper with Ripley the best goalie in L1 on stats and Stockton up front though it doesn't seem to be working for them on grass. Going by the stars, my guess is that Stockton, previously (and maybe even now) a target of ours, will score so think we'll need two to win. All depends on DC's starting line up. 

Come on, Vale - dunner let us down on Boxing Day!

We need composure today and to keep calm . A bit less headless chicken and more belief and calm .

Interesting selection. Robinson over Worrall, Massey over Wilson and Holden over Butterworth.  Can only think he's keeping a couple fresh on the bench for the next 2 games. Good to see Ojo back.

Illness probably? Darrell sounded awful in his interview just before Xmas and alluded to Covid and illness around so maybe influenced the selection with some of the surprise omissions.

Morecambe fans unhappy as well no Taylor, Stockton on the bench and six defenders starting.

Have to see how this pans out but this is more pressure than Thursday in that a win here makes Sheffield Wednesday a free hit.
