It’ll be good to welcome Jake Taylor back. Part of our promotion winning team and a contender for MOTM in the play off final IMO.
Liked Jake showed a lot of promise.
Certainly shone v Swindon when entered fray away and at home then the final v Mansfield.
Never forget his winner v Crewe away .
Good lad JTaylor wish him well apart from when we play his side .
Good player for sure

Just had a gander at tickets sold the bycars is filling well I'd say with a last minute burst could be a good 8000 there tomoz .
Team well who knows if players unwell and carrying covid would suggest why performance for 30 mins second half v Salford was atrocious .
So hopefully team who takes.to the field have that spark required to keep the fans who rarely go but attend on boxing day returning and that means with a performance full of intent effort desire and good first touch play.
Everything to play for in last however many games return .
First target 55 points then second target 67 points and go from there .

Morecambe are bottom of the league. We play them twice in the next few weeks. It's time to beat them twice and cement one team we don't need to worry about in the relegation battle. Similarly Forrest Green.
Might not be as easy as you think they may be bottom but they have had some creditable results away from home and its not very often they don't score

Keep seeing posts for need a ticket for a specific stand .
What difference does it make go out have beers with pals then go in the stand whatever you have ended up going in .
Why are people so precious about what end they sit in you are there surely there to encourage the team from wherever you are or end up in the stadium ..
Find it very bizarre I know folk want sit with family but Vales one big family so get behind them do not not go because you don't like the bycars .
You love Vale don't you so go and sit wherever .
Hope they win and perform to a level that sells the remaining tickets for Sheffield Wed away .

Hardly started for them, sadly a bad move for him.

Started 10 of the first 12, then picked up a 4-6 week muscular injury. Of the games he's been fit for, he's started 13 of 16.

The issue, as its always been with Taylor, is injuries.

One of those games which will be a slog, I feel.

A large crowd expecting 3 points against a team who will sit deep and narrow. We aren't the best at breaking low blocks down and much prefer an open game. Can see it being a fairly poor game to watch.

I can already hear the groans as the ball is circulated across the back three about 20 minutes in, with indignant cries of 'get it forward!'.

We'll probably nick a win but I don't think it'll be as fun or easy as many hope.

Way too early to judge. But as with any walk of life you’re getting different life experiences, with different coaching and different ways of playing and if he gets quite a few games under his belt (which he wasn’t doing here) then it looks good on the  footballing cv in terms of another club wanting him, him willing to move and him playing games. What was the point in staying here when he clearly wasn’t wanted?  He did the right thing in going IMO. Maybe at the end of it he gets a move to a better club which I would say was his long term plans, move to play for a manager that wanted him and use it as a stepping stone.

He wanted to be in the starting line up here. He isn't in the starting line up in a team at the bottom of the league. How is that the right decision?
