It's interesting that the line up is:

RCB: Cass

RWB: Robinson

Instead of

RCB: Forrester

RWB: Cass

Makes you wonder whether Forrester still needs some conditioning / time in training building partnership with Smith or their is high confidence in Robinson.

Be great if it were the latter.

So just got to Exeter and decided to hobble through the city centre. Walking along slowly on my crutches when some old chap starts chatting to me and says he noticed my shirt. 

Turns out the guy is only our old club doctor, John Lewis, who left Vale in 1999

What a small world 

He came to the game at the end of last season but couldn't get a ticket to stand with the Vale lads so had to stand in the home end with them and keep his gob shut when Willow scored!

Having the one goalkeeper is still making me nervous. Knowing vale luck he'll get injured or sent off. Sooner we get another one in the better

It’s a big test for two young lads today, be tougher today for McDermott away from home, time to see why we courted Sammy Robinson I guess! Must have something about him to play at Man City as well as a kid and should be decent on the ball.

Listening to Radio Sjoke on line till about 10 minutes to go.  Ifollow doesn't usually get the radio working.  Often not till a minute or so to go.

I’m really stressed about playing with an alternating 2/3rds of a squad all season last  season and signs of similar this season. Conlon and Pett need to be back and fighting fit soon. Who knows what’s happening with Walker, constantly something going on there.
