Also Chesterfield don't usually have a goalkeeper on the bench so the lad who went in goal was beaten by 2 crosses and so lost 2 points.

In other news, John Clarke, who was Vale's LB in the youth team last year and joined Reading in the summer made his Championship debut yesterday.

Disappointed we couldn't have kept him.

Covolan has been sent off four times in about 12 months now? Shows the importance of getting the right man rather than Mr Right Now.

Yes we need to sign the right player but also not ones who are so obviously wrong. Get the Trust the process but seriously question the process if the same process was applied to Cov. Remember debating on OVF Covs sending off in a friendly and having it coming back at me that it didn't count. Someone has said Cov has now been sent off 4 times in a calendar year. That's one player, most teams don't get 4 red cards in a season.

Started this season as he did last, after being frozen out following his red mist v Swindon.

Clearly isn't learning his lessons...

He was being a massive **** with the Vale as soon as he heard about Reading’s interest in him.

He pretended to be injured, the club were sceptical but paid for him to get a scan which proved there was nothing wrong with him. In the end he was messing everyone around so much they told him he could leave.
