We’ve just lost 4-1 at home to a side who lost 6-0 last week. Following Outstanding results and performances against morcambe, Cheltenham, macc and Grimsby who were all below us in the league. Please enlighten me what is there to be positive about regarding vale?

Wake up.

At this point in time not a lot.

Go and take your negativity and depressive comments elsewhere or more preferably go take a Prozac and go to bed.

I went to my first match of the season on Boxing Day, and probably my last.....what a load of garbage. Even through the dark days of Glover and V2001 I used to be a ST holder, going home and away. I was hoping, beforehand, the Grimsby match would convince me to come today too, I’m glad it didn’t, looking at the result and the comments.

Aspin needs to go, no question. Insipid, depressing stuff which isn't getting the results and is showing a semi-regularity in having goals shipped past us.

However, until the apathetic, passive, inane Vale fans wake up and see that changing the manager won't change the fact we have the most incompetent chairman in the 92, then we're intrinsically ******.

As long as Norm owns the club, we can treat the symptoms of decline with a bit of sellotape in the form of a new manager every 12 months, but we'll not stop being a tinpot outfit tumbling out of existence.

Will reiterate; Aspin needs to go, and anyone who doesn't think that is in dire trouble

Compare Bruno's squad to today's and it looks like a Championship team.!

No it doesn’t! Bruno’s squad was a bunch of non league semi pro foreigners dressed up to look like Smurf was putting money in.

Bruno getting us up to 4th in league one early on in his stint was a pretty remarkable achievement. Remember our 3-0 odd win against Millwall early on in that season?

Page’s squad the previous year however was full of proven quality. In fact had Smurf invested in that, I’m convinced we would have seen Championship football.

As for Aspin. He is worse than Glover.

At half time Aspin only needed to replace Vassell with Gibbons but no, he takes off Vassell, moves Monty to left back and brings on Worrall who is not match fit.

Then he takes off Kay who was having a reasonable game so he can bring on Quigley and moves Whitfield, our most dangerous player to wide left. That was game over and Oldham, a desperately poor side, couldn't believe their luck.

First half we should have been 3 or 4 up, we finished the game lucky to only lose 4-1.

Today wasn't the players fault, it wasn't Smurthwaite's fault, it was 100% Aspin's.
