I ain't going to worry myself sick about what was or wasn't said, it's up to the man, what we say see think or do wont alter things one jot so why mither about something we have no control over.

Never trusted Smurthwaite since he first took over.

 

You just don't know where you stand with him, one minute he tells us one thing like we're not signing anymore players and a few days later we sign someone or we do the opposite.

 

He always seems to blame the fans for everything, it's never his fault (even though we all know most of it is as he takes on too much) but he makes most fans like myself who have a ST year in year out feel like our support is worthless.

 

The last straw for me was him going on sky sports the other month with the "I've been beat up and saying that the fans are racists" sob story. I have a business contact of mine who is from an ethnic minority that called me shortly after Smurthwaite's sky sports outburst and my business contact jokingly said that he didn't know if he should call me as he feared that I may be racist towards him. I've never been racist to anyone and I know this was only a bit of banter but it left me feeling so angry towards what that idiot had said, as it could start to affect my work life.

 

I just want him gone from the club, the sooner the better as he's the most unprofessional business person I've ever come across and I no longer want him representing the club I've supported for over 30 years.

 

That annoyed I can't be bothered to write much on the subject, but you sum up my feelings perfectly. I'm sick of the c**p, I've learned not to ever expect a positive statement from the club. It's things like this that are adding to things like our terrible Tuesday night attendances (or attendances overall). Who wants to support someone that constantly complains, puts them down & insults them?

Smurf sounds more and more like his hero Karl Oyston-and is about as user friendly.I suspect unfortunately that,unless he sells the club,we will be facing the same scenario as the Blackpool supporters in the near future.The only redeeming feature at the moment is Rob Page.

I just kind of let it go over my head to be honest, multiple times he's said this and that will be cut then radomly sign players, the budget was being cut this season the he signed a load.

 

Bizarrely he speaks a lot of negativity then spends above what he has said. I don't get it if I'm honest.

He hasnt put 2m of his own money in.

That money is revenue from the commercial side, which he owns.

I was told this by 4 different people at christmas. One who is very close to the club.

 

He is having supporters pants down with his lies. Think about it. Nothing adds up. Never has.

Its all part of his plan.

 

He will get found out.

I just hope intervention happens before we have no club and he and Synetics Solutions (new owners) have all the land.
