Yes, bringing in the best manager that got us to Wembley twice, yes, selling the best player when the manager was out of the country, got the Hamill rd stand for next to nothing, I do have a good memory, yes, a loveable old rogue, And yes, I did have issues with him, but to put him in the same class as the one's since!!!.....***.

for a club which has the 3rd lowest budget (at last reading) in the league they are in, vale are doing a very decent job he should be proud, hope and morale are important things but smurf has a habit of being counterproductive with his exploits and gaffs he reminds me of a eccentric fat african dictator at times, its worrying.

 

theres no real need in him spitting out some of the things he is saying, your trying to sell a club then you are pushing out negative statements on the budget? we are trying to climb position and hes helping to ruin player morale?

 

i thank him for his service and he hasnt had to do what hes done but i just hope he hands over the keys smoothly to a buyer that will benefit the club the most, i hope this is a new beginning, hopefully inject some more money, his heart doesnt seem to be in it so it wont be long now anyway before hes gone god willing.

Very much doubt there's any intellectual property to own but trademarks maybe. I have much less concern over the club shop in any sale as there are ways around it but the ground is a huge issue.

According to RS this morning Smurf has reported a number of Twitter users to the Police because of abusive posts he's received. I can't say I'm surprised as you only have to look on a OVF match thread when we're losing to get a flavour of what can happen. Similarly I can't understand why Smurf even tries to communicate to fans on Twitter anyway. All was well in our promotion season but as soon as you don't meet everyone's expectations then you're there to be shot at.
