Irrespective of this, when you factor in wages costs, rent, rates, light and heat, insurance etc. I reckon its pittance, but why let that get in the way of a conspiracy.

No agenda, no conspiracy theory, no idea where the money goes...just looking to establish a fact...what the profit is on 'the shop'.

Not that I am aware of.... it depends on what "the shop" consists of, or what comes under the umbrella of "the shop"

'the shop' is whatever 'the shop' is and if 'the shop' is a separate entity with separate ownership and separate turnover and profit/loss (I have no idea if it is) I'd be interested in its sales and profit/loss if that info is available

Does anyone have any idea on the turnover and profit from the shop...irrespective of who owns it? Is there any info out there on this?

You have no legal right whatsoever to see that information. The company will most likely be classed as small and will only need to file a balance sheet with no profit and loss account ie no details of turnover , rent, wages, etc etc

But your aspersion that he is not putting the money from the shop into the club is pure speculation. Just because it goes into a different company doesn't mean it doesn't go back in, agreed?
Norman himself said on here it doesn't go into the club, so yes agreed it is conjecture!

Tim

Although I agree with some of the points you make it is notl acceptable to abuse posters with cretin or moron... or anything else

Fair enough, from my side I find it offensive to be told that because I don't back the chairman I dont attend matches or support the club when in fact i'm a regular, I find it offensive to have people suggest I take pleasure from seeing PVFC struggle when the opposite is what I want for the club. I also find it offensive to have the same posters attack me when they haven't actually read what I have posted but feel free to attack it just because I posted it. I find it offensive but i'm big enough to just give it back. I will refrain from using names in the future however as it m7ght cause some anguish.

Fairynuff...ta

Must be difficult to track and tax income from such ventures? Does that all rely on a tax return and any audit that occurs?

People will support the chairman, the bringer of good times, the rescuer of port vale [i use the terms lightly].

Some wont listen, some dont want to listen, you know thats the way it is, some read what they think is written some make genuine mistakes in interpretation or understanding... some just want to attack simply because its you who is posting and some assume because you dont post on matchday threads you dont attend or you just want to "attack" smurf or worse still your not a supporter.... I get it.. and... I, get it.

Two things.... firstly, the use of the terms used [cretin etc] is against the forum rules... secondly, it diminishes your argument, no matter how right it is.

I'm going to need a citation of that as you are apparently the only person to see that

"The shop is run through a separate Company but all profits are taken into account for FL purposes.

The main reason for this is that it could be an asset which could be sold off and after the Sondico fiasco no shirt manufacturer would touch us and l had to fund the whole stock in advance of delivery

The actual profits support The Academy"

What constitutes a "small company", Nick? The football club accounts were of the limited nature you mention here but under V2001 full detailed accounts were always produced. Is there a specific cut off point on turnover or something?

As the club shop has been under discussion here, perhaps you should remember what your 'lovable old rogue' biscuit-tin Bell did involving the club shop about the time he left. Not quite as bad as Deakin and Miller, but only because it suited him to have Rudge earn him over £10 million in transfer fees and give less than £3 million back to JR to spend.

Not to mention sacking the best manager we ever had , then having to pay crippling compensation, threatening tioclose the club down when fans moaned a bit, and building an totally inappropriate eyesore hat has stood unfinished for decades and started the decline of the club.

Some people have very short and selective memeories.
