Correct you want another lockdown ? I think you will find a total lockdown is just round the corner, Johnson will have yet another U-Turn, and this time he will have Starmers support.

I agree with that......Only problem is the students wanted their university "Experience" they didn't want to be locked down remotely, they say they have "Suffered" enough being under lockdown over the summer they only have one life and they wanted to live it, thats admirable, if your not suffering from a pandemic, Liverpool is a hot bed for the virus, ICU's filling up cases on the rise, so I'm guessing you want a total lockdown.

Wont only be landlords losing their income if Johnson locks the country down for 2-3 weeks.

Some entitled student interviewed on the radio stated that it was what students do, socialise, and so that was her excuse for a massive gathering in Liverpool last night, nothing to do with the government of the day, nothing to do with Track and Trace, just plain selfishness, to the back drop of numbers increasing in Liverpools ICU's they should go and see someone in ICU suffering from Covid and maybe they would change their minds, it's not very nice.

Do you mean following medical advice 3 weeks ago it would have gone down well or would there have been the same fuss there is tonight ?

Keir Starmer reckons there should be a total lock down for 2-3 weeks, I wonder how that would have gone down in Liverpool and the rest of the country come to that.
  13. He probably got better service at Carlisle than he got today.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/mp-margaret-ferrier-faces-calls-to-resign-for-flouting-covid-rules/ar-BB19Dhyp?ocid=msedgntp If Sturgeon asks Ferrier to resign, which Ferrier should do, then you have to respect her leadership qualities, quite a political poke in the eye for Boris, who failed miserably to scrap his mentor Cummings and a point scored for the SNP against the government.

https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/rutherglen-mp-calls-dominic-cummings-22084664 Will the SNP MP now jump on her sword ? After admitting that on Monday evening she received a positive test result she then got on a train and travelled to London, after quite rightly criticising Cummings she does exactly the same thing herself, the arrogance of MP's never fails to astound. https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/18763865.snp-mp-margaret-ferrier-travelled-scotland-london-testing-positive-covid-19/

You would think that those in the public eye would be more vigilant,it does make you wonder what the narrative would have been on here if Corbyn and his Guardian champagne scoffing luvvies were running the show, not much different than the shambles we have now probably, which in my mind means party politics and political point scoring have no place in the face of a unprecedented virus.
  20. It is on Sky sports an interview he's done, I am trying to find the link. This is the best I can do.. Sky Sports · Follow Yesterday at 6:00 PM · Bruce: Not down to Prem to bail out EFL Steve Bruce says all clubs are being hit by the coronavirus but it's not down to the Premier League to bail out clubs in the divisions below them.
  21. Another manager from a permanently failing Premier league outfit .....Bruce agreeing with Dyche, who do these 2nd rate managers and clubs think they are ?after all, they themselves are cannon fodder for the big clubs, both of them forget they flirt with the EFL on a regular basis......Tin pot the lot of them.

Listening to Boris blustering his way through a very difficult situation, a situation that there isn't a set of instructions to refer to, I cant help wondering how long it will be before the Tory Grandees start meeting in smoky committee rooms in the Palace of Westminster and start plotting his enforced abdication.

Bless the Premier League.. "Football is not the same without attending fans and the football economy is unsustainable without them. Last season, Premier League clubs suffered £700m in losses and at present, our national game is losing more than £100m per month. This is starting to have a devastating impact on clubs and their communities." They are beginning to sound like the BBC, paying over inflated salaries and incurring huge losses and expecting someone else to bail them out.
  24. So far as the EFL are concerned he paid the bills and wages on time. That's really all they care about. Exactly, just because he's despised by Vale fans and probably the wider community, thats his problem not the EFL's and the supporters, if he does take on Wigan the EFL will look to see if he can pay his way, if he can prove he can then, in their mind, thats another club saved and off their sick list regardless of performance on the pitch, what division they end up playing in, who the manager is and how he runs the club, where he gets his pies from and how unpopular he is.
