I guess Stoke won't be selling anymore of their young players and signing / loaning crocks to replace them. They look in relegation trouble with the transfer window closure days away. That said Nottingham Forrest got promoted after being bottom this time last year by way of a manager sacking.  Darrell Clarke to Stoke City?

Yes, agreed, it does seem that their problems run pretty deep.

If Dyche has turned it down then you wouldn't be expecting Wilder (although it's plenty closer to home than Boro) or Neil to take it.

I hope Gareth wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole. Not just because he was a great player for us but he deserves better than having the stench of that club associated with him. Nothing anyone ever does there will be good enough for that whiny entitled fanbase.
