Yes interview was a lot of waffle, but she explained the reasoning for sacking Clarke, even though I disagree with it. They obviously can’t go into any behind the scenes detail, which football clubs do that? 

Only things I wasn’t happy about was mentioning Darrell’s daughter, think it’s a bit uncalled for, wasn’t relevant, and I doubt Darrell would be too happy about it. The other was trying to spin that January was alright. I’d rather her just admit we couldn’t spend more money and it was a terrible window.

This is pure conjecture until actually confirmed by Vale, Clarke or Portsmouth. None of which will happen. 

Also surely Crosby would of joined him. Vale or Portsmouth = No Brainer 

I agree completely which is my point about transparency and honesty. Carol will not be able to disclose the in's and out's just like DC will never be able which is why you get waffle and the line of performances and results not good enough over a period of time.

If he applied and didn't get the job, he had no choice but to stay.  I can't imagine him then downing tools and falling out with everyone at the club due to not getting the job.  The only way I can see him kicking off about that is if promised transfer funds were then pulled with excuse being his head had been turned.  Ridiculous of so, happens all the time in every line of work if someone fancies a bigger job.

If he got the job and was stopped from going, I can see why that would cause him to be unsettled with us but, in that case, let him go.  We did with hall and we would be entitled to decent compo.

Either way makes no sense with me to leave until thus stated and do what we've done.

We have no idea one way or the other. I was just making a point there is limited amount the Carol and also DC could conceivably disclose.

We will all have to wait for the DC autobiography for the real story in 20 years time.

I think they can claim some rear view mirror criticism of Jan. So it's unfortunate we crocked our forward line. Also Jones was a good alternative in defence until he too got crocked. Overall at the start of the season we had more players than a typical L1 squad and so some thinning out was not unreasonable. 

But I'm still with you despite my comments above, that the Jan window did not go well.

I've been told that the Clarke move to Pompey was agreed but compo couldn't be agreed.

Crosby was to go to Newport but compo couldn't be agreed.

Seems like if you can’t find anything to justify what’s happens at vale just say you been told by someone who knows Billy’s mum who cleans the offices at Vale that Clarke agreed terms with Portsmouth but compensation could  not be agreed because it was Friday the 13th
