I don’t normally comment on things but I can tell you when I arrived at vale park this morning he was having treatment on his leg and when he had finished limped away to his car so please no conspiracy theory as he is injured

Like many Valiants I sincerely hope Clark's agent isn't playing mind games with JA to bump up a bigger payday for himself (agent) i.e. there are no nibbles from other clubs; he's telling the lad to hang in there and trust him 'I know what I'm doing'; Port Vale will come knocking for you before the start of new season.

I hope Vale can sign Clarke, good player and consistent performer this season, can play right and left back and other positions. He knows he will play regularly for the Vale next season and continue his development as opposed to going to a Lge 1 club where he has to establish himself and potentially sit on the bench and become another Alex Jones.

Reported that two top 6 German clubs are after him - he ain’t that good. Might be a bench warmer at a League 1 club but no higher in my view. Had some good games but also had a few poor ones too.

He would be pretty much guaranteed first team football at Vale. Signing a two year contract with a sensible buyout clause might suit both parties. He owes Vale.

And no way is the lad currently good enough for anything more than league two/bottom half of league one. He still has a lot to learn.

He's decent and can improve but at the moment League Two is very much his level. His agent should be sectioned.

You either trust an agent to do the best for you or you change him, you would always have the last say on whether to accept a deal or not, unless you have signed a stupid contract.

Of course, no one named the clubs! Villa U 23's squad, then one season on loan and suddenly he's a Bundesliga target? Can't see it but he sure would be good enough for us - hope we sign him.
