Sounds like his agent is trying to engineer a better deal. He's a good player but he ain't ready for a premier league first team.

clarks agents sounds like a right muppet all hes interested in is lining his own pockets and not whats best for mitch, clark has played regularly for vale he wouldn't get a single game in the greedy league so how will that benefit clark other than a big bank balance, this lad has got a great footballing career ahead of him if he wants to play football that is and not just be a bench warmer for a big club

Most of them come across that way. Boils down to the fact that the higher division their player signs for, the liklihood is that the player will earn much more and, consequently, will the agent. All but a handful couldn't give a stuff about the players they're representing, so long as their @rse pocket is bulging

He doesn't have to go to a Premier or Bundesliga league club to play at a higher level than PV!

The player has to want to play first and foremost, and then decide for himself where he goes, be it for money or game time. Unfortunately, many are too easily led by promises galore from their agents, hence the stagnantion/end of many promising young players' careers in the English game.

And that is why I absolutely loath agents with a vengeance! They are at the top of everything that is wrong with football today!

But they have managed to make a narrative, where they seem indispensable. That players from the age of 10-12, will never amount to anything, unless they have an agent. And they really have players brainwashed into thinking, that they only wants what is best for them, the player. But fact of the matter is, that being an agent is stone cold cynical business! The agent only wants what is best for the agents bottom line. Nothing else, nothing more! They are modern day charlatans, of the worst degree! I hate them, absolutely hate them!!!
