I personally think the defence looks so bad because when the ball is cleared nobody in front of them can keep the ball so within 30 seconds it’s on its way back. I know it’s a different level but Real Madrid showed us how to defend in depth. They held the ball up and passed it to each other, could you imagine loft or uchi controlling it and passing it to anyone in white?
