Team picked hoping not to lose.

Pathetic no sub until last 10 minutes.

Why can’t we start with Pope and Miller up front.

Nice to see Worrall back in the team.

Hannant mustn’t start next week.

Joyce ok as long as Kay isn’t in the tram.

 

Pope and Hannant have both been complete garbage for months. Both need dropping and we might have a chance of scoring a goal

Get real man. We know we have a poor side, that is not Askey fault, it is down solely to the Fat Controller.

We could not afford to lose today, as it is we are in a slightly better place than at start of play. We need to build on this now, I am starting to believe that we can get out of this. I suspect players confidence will now improve after this.

Do one Askey. Absolutely pathetic.

The way he set that team up you’d have thought we were away at Liverpool not the team BOTTOM OF THE ENTIRE FOOTBALL LEAGUE!!!!

 

I hate Smurthwaite as much as the next Vale fan but this is just rank bad management.

 

Complete rubbish. They took County on and were all over them the second half. Jeez

Not been the game today.So my comments are limited by what commentary came from the radio.But it sounded an exciting game.Players gave their all,under what would have been difficult circumstances and under a lot of pressure.Vale did everything but score unfortunately.Three points would have been great.But that 1 point added to the total could prove important.I wouls say the 1462 Vale fans that were there played their part as the 12 man today.They sounded in good voice and were fully behind the team.That support from those fans will have urged the players on.
