This story feels like it may have a few twists and turns.

Do you know he was driving Ernie?

Oh and I’m genuinely not having a go here (which you and I have been known to do in the past).

Pedestrian means he was walking,Shortstop. He was walking past the Grassy Knoll near the Depository.

It was the pedestrian that is in Hospital mate so he def wasn't driving. Like I say doesn't make sense that he would be walking by the flats on Hamil Road.

Thing is if the road has been closed for 10hours, confirmed by the Sentinel, then surely the Police will make a statement.

A Girl on Facebook is saying she saw the accident and that it was a Taxi driver,

D****e C***e Said Disgusting comments I'm ashamed and I'm a massive port vale fan and live in burslem in my life!!!!!!! Norman is a human being just like the rest of us!! I saw the accident too. It was a taxi driver that hit him and no Norman was not drunk so get your facts right before commenting.

I am no supporter of Norman's tenure at Vale Park but wish him a speedy recovery. However, a road traffic accident often results in a fatality for a pedestrian so Norman might be quite lucky. But I ask a question to those on here who feel that they are "in the know". Had Norman not survived, who would the ownership of our club pass to, and what would that mean for the future of our club?

What I don't understand is why would he be walking down Hamil Road by the flats. Surely he would park on the car park

With him living in Leicester and there being a game on today, perhaps he was staying the night at the George hotel.

Seems the most likely reason.
