Harness scored three for Burton yesterday. We are doing something wrong?

 

Ben Williamson and Louis Dodds both scored hat tricks. They were his first league goals for Burton in 86 league appearances so to date so he's still only scoring once every 29 games on average. Maybe he'll go on to be prolific or maybe the Rochdale game will be the highlight of a mediocre career.

No pal have had a season ticket for over 10 years so have seen the (few) highs and (many) lows of Louis Dodds.Just can’t see how he is worth £900 a week to sit on the bench which could be used to bring in a better player.Seems a lot of money to pay for a tea boy.

Obviously Aspin realises he has made a mistake and will send him back to Chesterfield.

It doesn't take a genius to tell that a lack of pace and width hampers any chance of rekindling the Dodds-Pope partnership up top. Not wide play to provide crosses into the box, no runs in behind for Dodds to use his vision and create. The pair of them are, unfortunately, too slow together to work without any pace around them.

 

It's a shame because he was a good player for us. It does seem odd that you have such a vendetta against a good servant to the club. He was one of my favourite players whilst here before but, for reasons previously stated above, he's not been the right signing this time round - particularly in a Neil Aspin sort of team.

 

I'm praying we get some pace/wingers in this window, but I can se us signing more centre halves and centre mids. If we do, that to me will say that Aspin isn't learning as a manager. Please see sense Neil.

1) do you go to games or not?

 

2) Someone else on this forum has disputed we are paying him the £900. Unless you have proof I call ********.

 

3) Dodds hasnt played enough games this season and when he has played he hasn't done enough. On those two things alone wouldn't be worth the loan. Factor in the dressing room positivity, experience and his wage being potentially less than £900 then he might be worth it.

 

My issue is EVERY post you are talking about him, its like hes shagged your wife or something. You don't rate him, we get it. Great. Thanks.

Come on guys can’t we do better on this forum! Got rid of 5 players already with possibly Dodds to go back and Turner/Dior out on loan. Where are all our sleuths regarding new signings? I reckon we will pay for a forward to support Pope, a winger and possible central midfield player, the winger on loan. The squad was too big before.

Admin, when Norman released the players wages, this website made the smart move to remove the details and stop people mentioning them.

 

This is even worse as its not even true. Can we please do something about someone spreading fake news about a players wages that they heard from an anonymous source which is only being brought up in a vendetta against the player.
