Some useful suggestions in the Sentinel piece today from fans. A couple are probably out of our league(wages and/or other teams higher up could be in for them) but worth asking the question. The Scottish lad Sheffield have released Scougall and Nyatanga would be cracking signings for league two as 2 examples. But as we all know this is Vale we're talking about, will all depend on which basket we are shopping in(bargain bin or the finest range!)

Probably were interested but probably not on a two year deal and maybe as a rotation option.

The suggestions in the Sentinel are completely unrealistic. All the names would have been decent if we were still in LG1.

Getting all a bit predictable now. July will have to be an incredibly busy month to get 14-16 new faces through the door.

 

Hmmm... isn't that what happened last ason, 2 o3 unknown continental players a day at one point. I would guess we'd have 3 or 4 new players before July though, but that is not based on any inside knowledge - maybe Martiani or whatever its name is can enlighten us more ?

* It's written by Peter Morse who has a bizarre complex against us.

 

* Why would we need another target man when we've already signed Pope?

 

* Brown has openly said he would like to sign Tyler Walker to partner Pope (young, nippy, quick forward).

 

Just smacks of them embarrassingly trying to "get one over" on us to me.

 

Maybe every time we sign someone we can get Mike Baggaley to say "he also rejected the advances of Crewe" :laugh:
