Some very good points-

 

Perhaps the way forward for lge 1 n 2 is to have a wage cap with bonus at end of season subject to lge position or perhaps paying crowd related- if the team is crap less people watch = no bonus(commission) if below a target figure for eg

 

I do think that football itself could inplode as the pyramid erodes from the bottom up, over a long period of time can see Rugby becoming the new football-

 

Must be honest I now go and watch Wasps sometimes the overall experience is far better than Premier League foitball. The pay cap seems to work, games are competitive and there is money left over for customer service. The structure of football sucks out all the gate revenue and increasingly any investors revenue.

 

America, the home of the fee markets, rigs the market with draft picks and salary caps to keep sport competitive. Football is no longer a spectator sport and is solely focused on the TV revenue and an elite few. Just the cost of attending games is pricing out a good proportion of the population. The myth is maintained that it is the working man's sport but at the top level it is run to support the life styles of some incredibly rich individuals.

Did they train the player, did they fall out with the players, did they pick the players for over half a season, did their training methods result in lots of muscle injuries, did they sign lots of old and past it players, did they ostracise certain players? No they didn't, the manager did, live with it for goodness sake and stop being personal.

Williams is a decent lower league keeper, although I'd have a slight preference for Neal.
