Do u trust our players I don't.

I will not be attending going spend me day doing a lot more enjoyable than watching half hearted rubbish.

Against Peterborough they built the buzz then in the space of two weeks or whatever it is since we played them managed destroy any respect I've got for them bar a few who have continued to do there best

So I hope they turn up for those who do go but don't count on it the Burton and Chesterfield debacles should tell u all u need to know.

How can anyone expect a different approach/attitude/performance from some of these so-called players? Most feel they have done what RP required- stay in Division 1.

 

There have been many, many bad and unacceptable games from Vale this season and this reflects in our position in the division. Fans have been let down tremendously but I cannot raise any enthusiasm at all for the remainder of this campaign. If the majority of the players and management don't care, then why should I?

 

Crewe will definitely come here knowing that if they put in any kind of performance they will probably take home the points. My gut tells me that this Saturday is going to be an embarrassingly low crowd and frankly, who can blame anyone for not wasting their money?

 

Still want Vale to win and finish as high as possible but come on be realistic how many of our squad now honestly care a fig about the last matches? They should have shown their mettle to the end especially as so many are "under threat" of no contract or reduced terms. Season is over. We will actually finish where most suggested we would and that friends makes it even more galling in the knowledge that so many poor games may have turned into several more points gained and in the cold light of day we had a chance but blew it.

I'm loving this thread, I usually get fairly up for our home games against Crewe, looking forward to the game prior to kick off, having a few beers beforehand and the walk up to Vale Park in anticipation for a reasonably decent attendance against one of the more local sides then usually being underwhelmed by the lack of support that they bring and the realisation that it is only Crewe after all.

 

This thread is actually keeping my feet firmly on the ground, no high expectations for me this week. I'll have my prematch drink safe in the knowledge that I won't be missing much should I get in a few minutes late.

 

Anyone reading this would think that it was us at the foot of the league rather than them:)

Really very sad that the players and Surf have together ruined the season. It is still staggering that Smurf could come out with some of the most distructive comments possible, then the players under perform when it matters most, and put in some shocking inept displays. I just hope we can start next season with some hope and inspiration because we are going to need it.
