Well obviously it's not, pin head, but it surely comes into consideration for a forward thinking midfielder. He's a talent and did very well for us in general. But the way some people go on about him you would think he almost won games on his own for us. I don't recall that happening.

Gutted about this.

Absolute quality during his time here - his passing and the way he turns away from players was a level above what we usually see from Vale midfielders.

Just hope he either gets some game time at Sheff now or has a loan to a Champ club as first choice.

Sitting on the bench or going back into the reserves would be a very silly move by Sheff.

Gutted as I am about this it was expected as he turned in some stellar performances for us  and I fully expect Devine ,Balmer  and Thomas to be recalled as well . So Flitcroft the pressure is on  to now get. 2 central midfielders of this quality , a left back and a striker … so is your process going to work or once again fall on its backside
