Now in United’s 25 man PL squad from Jan 2nd though won’t be available for 4-6 weeks.  Chris Wilder obviously thinks he’s ready to represent the Blades in the PL now, referencing Ollie’s obvious passion for his club as being key to that view.

Let’s Hope we see similar passion for our club from the players that remain after January.

His leaving statement posted above is pure class he truly ‘gets it’ and got us as a fan base.If he gets on the pitch at halftime tonight to wave goodbye I’ll break😩.

He’s now set a very high bar for current and future loanees to reach.  Credit to the recruitment team and club to identifying the possibility of getting him in and then actually doing it along with making his stay impactful for both him and us. Some might say it was more luck than judgement but I like to think it’s just the first of many opportunities we’ll now have to bring in other top talent to supplement our own existing and developing young players.

Thank you Ollie Arblaster!    and UTV!

I've being going to Vale Park since 1955 and can honestly say that Ollie is the most talented young loan player that has ever worn a Vale shirt. Thanks for all your efforts Ollie it's a pity we haven't got more players who know how to score a goal so you could have helped us win more games.

I shall be 77 in a couple of weeks I just hope I shall still be around when you pull on an England shirt young man,you can do it!

Hope he gets a fantastic send off tonight! Boy he deserves it, like someone has previously mentioned his attitude is what stood out to me the most. Such an old head on a young boys shoulders. Go smash it Ollie 👊🏻

Yeah absolutely spot on about that. Always think back to our opening home game against Reading and a day after his grandfather passed away he still went out there and not only played but was lapping the field for the man of the match. Says everything anyone needs to know about him and why I think he genuinely can go to the top.

Ollie Arblaster has been immense at Vale. A young talented player who has wanted to come to a lower league club not just to gain experience, but show his loan club that he has passion and desire and wants to gives his all to the cause and YES unfortunately for Vale on Chris Wilder's return to management at  SHEFFIELD UNITED he has done his homework to realise "The Blades", have an emerging young talent developing elsewhere now at their disposal. Chris Wilder was a great player himself for "The Blades", and he knows talent when he sees it. So obviously Ollie Arblaster will be moving on up in his career development.

For clubs such as the Vale getting the opportunity to groom young talent from either Championship or Premier League clubs will help young players development. Yes with Ollie Arblaster being recalled is disappointing, but such a talent player was only ever going to be a short term fix. Let's remember that England captain Harry Kane went out on loan from Spurs in his early development he played on loan at Leyton Orient scoring five goals in eighteen matches, Millwall seven goals in twenty two matches plus loan spells at Leicester City and Norwich City where he wasn't as successful. But the bigger picture relates to promising talented individuals getting their grounding hopefully for greater success.

I would be very surprised if Ange Postecoglou recalls Alfie Devine from Vale as Spurs are a massive club in the Premier League in comparison to Sheffield United.
