Summer transfer rumours and speculation
Wozza4England replied to werstayinup's topic in Port Vale present
I couldn’t agree more. Why we’ve used him as a footballer I’ll never know. -
For me there’s one gaping hole in her statement that leaves me some way short of getting back on board. Nowhere does she say backing Flitcroft was a mistake and nowhere does she apologise specifically for her previous ‘open letter’ where she had a really good go at belittling Vale fans. Her ‘mistakes’ have had too big a consequence for a generic apology to suffice.

Something tells me he’s been instructed to talk about Port Vale in the first person. It’s hilarious how he tries to fit “us” and “we” into every statement. 🤣

Good idea. Don’t forget to follow it up with a rousing rendition of “David Flitcroft, he’s one of our own” 🙄

And when we sign players who aren’t injured our medical team convince them that they are. A cynic might say some of our injuries are used to cover up tactical failings and disciplinary issues. -

Can you come and collect him, I wouldn’t trust him to find his way off the pitch let alone back to Brighton. -

Priority for staff cuts next season: 1. Players 2. Medical team who don’t know the difference between injured and fit. 3. Manager 4. Sports scientists who decide a player has to come off if there’s a bead of sweat on their forehead. 5. Stewards. At current levels they’ll outnumber the away fans. 6. Recruitment team who couldn’t identify a fairy to sit on top of the Xmas tree. -

Well done Darrell Clarke, fingers crossed Cheltenham survive so we can have our Staffordshire derby with Burton 🤣 -

In the league one relegation watch thread, 43 people voted that vale wouldn’t be drawn into a relegation battle. Just out of interest would anyone like to put up their hand and admit they got it wrong? -

They can’t be, Peterborough are so fantastic it isn’t even worth trying to score against them. -

Mmmm....I'm simply suggesting that there are not many females in authority in the football world. I think she is certainly playing on it. No misogyny. Don’t even think about apologising. There is nothing misogynistic in your post and if people want to be offended by something that’s not there, it’s their problem not yours. -

Sounds like the second half was very similar to the last time myself and two mates used our ST’s; that was against Fleetwood. I still get a little down when we lose but it’s nowhere near as bad as being there and feeling completely helpless.
