I got straight on when I tried at 9.30. Only issue I have is that I had to buy an over 65 ticket because the system won't let me buy an Adult ticket because I qualify for a home concession ticket. Hopefully I look old enough to get away with it.

My favourite opening day moment…Southend Away. Nathan Lowndes put us 1-0 up early doors so we started singing WE ARE TOP THE LEAGUE,WE ARE TOP THE LEAGUE. Shame we went on to loose but good times. I think Southend went on to win back to back promotions if memory serves me.

Fav opening day moment for me has to be Bury away. Lee Collins winner at our end. Mayhem.

Yes, he did. I was there. Had a cracking weekend in Southend and I believe it was the Sunday of the 2005 Ashes test at Edgbaston where we won by 2 runs.

According to their Manager today Crewe were beaten by a quality league 1 side today.

I know Barnsley are but it was worrying to hear Adam Yates say we don't look like a league 1 side.

A front starting 3 of Harrison, Garrity and Massey is an embarrassing indictment of a close season. TBH

Same with me, something changed on ticketing system as it didn't do this last season.

It is because our concession starts at 62. The system is programmed to calculate age from your date of birth and will only accept ticket requests for the perceived age range.

I was 62 last season (on a concession at VP ST) and went 14 away games and not once did it make me have a concession (over 65) for any away tickets.
