The ticket office phone line is a joke !! Always get cut off at number 2 in the queue !!

Does anyone know if the additional 1000 tickets can be brought from the ticket office as the online buying is as bad as the phone line !

They have added two strikers to what was already a potent attack.

In defence they have recruited what have been described being the best 2 centre backs in the National League last season but I think that;s always a dangerous game to play if you are throwing them both in straight away.

The Crewe commentators on Saturday described Barnsley of looking like a class act after they beat Crewe.

I'm not really sure what to expect on Saturday. They will be wounded after Wembley. A big change in defence and a rookie manager.

But we also have a rookie manager and we have been far from fluid in pre-season

Vale put on twitter 2 hours ago saying currently Barnsley tickets are only available online but it shows there all grey out so I doubt they have started selling this extra 1000 tickets yet.

One defeat in 12 seasons I believe and that loss was the season we were promoted !!

If you exclude 2012/13 when the first game was a cup tie then its 1 loss in 18 opening LEAGUE games. 

If you include the cup tie to the 2 losses in 18 overall first game defeats both came in promotion seasons so a defeat may be a good omen!

Hi guys, looking forward to the new season and Wanderers first home game against Lincoln. I actually live in Barnsley and I can tell you that the natives aren’t at all happy. As others have said they have lost a number of key players including their captain and replaced them with largely unwanted and National League players. If Norwood does go that will be a massive blow to them so keep your fingers crossed on it. They certainly are having trouble behind the scenes misleading the EFL on several occasions over ownership and share holdings. There’s no question they’re going to  get punished but we don’t yet know what that will be. In the meantime the owners have told the fans not to expect money to be spent so I’d say this is probably as good a time to play them as any. In fairness we did them home and away last year but God knows what happened to us in the play offs we just completely froze. I don’t see them as a threat this year and I’d absolutely love to see you give them a hiding on Saturday so good luck to you and 0-2 to the Valiants. 🤗
