Be glad to get to half time with Whitehead still on the pitch the way he is playing.  Ref will be watching him and this one is card happy.

Does anyone else find a constant reluctance from these Vale players to take a shot? We always seem to want to lay it off for someone else, and consequently fumble the opportunity?

Change the midfield. Burgess been really poor this season. Whitehead will get sent off. Conlon and Joyce on both should have started anyway

Short in midfield and feel we have missed both Joyce and Conlon. Is Robinson on?

Get Whitehead and Pope off at half time for Joyce and Conlon. We still have enough to get a goal in the side with Montano offering a threat at left-back which we haven’t had previously.

Unless it was because of fitness or minor knocks there was no real need to drop Joyce and Colon today when you’re already changing formation and playing a new back line.

Was Burgess playing?  Think I only heard his name mentioned twice and that was Sproston saying he needs to get into this game.

Exactly. It wasn’t until he committed that awful foul that I realised he was playing.

I feel a bit wary at half time......all those changes that were called for, be attacking etc etc have unsettled the set up. We look short in midfield and are still banging it forward. No idea why Conlon and Joyce have been put on the bench. All looks a bit dangerous to me......
