Have said since the transfer window we needed another midfielder. It’s nowhere near as strong as some have said. 

Joyce and Conlon are fine. Burgess has been way off it this season. Not convinced at all with whitehead yet either. Our best Cm can’t get fit. We are short there. 

Midfield totally useless. We have no control of the game and the forwards - again - are living off scraps apart from Rodney's incredible miss. Should be going in one up.

We need Joyce and Conlon on. Rodney has to improve - he's had a poor half generally - or McKirdy has to come on as well.

There's not excuse for not beating these but we've made them look good.

Ifollow stats are interesting. 2 of our 11 crosses have been completed as opposed to 3 of their 6. I've said for a few seasons that our crossing is shocking and this is a worrying trend yet again.

So, I’m not going to moan at Askey for trying something different as it was needed. 

But we have three players - Robinson, Burgess and Whitehead - have been anonymous. Rodney is not a winger.

I’d take off Robinson and Whitehead and bring on Joyce and Conlon at this point.

Vale are getting overrun in midfield, I to would take Robinson off and Joyce on.

Whitehead took one for the team, their guy made a meal out of it IMHO.

Two weeks running our Midfield have been anonymous. 

We have also been guilty of some ludicrous petty fouls by the corner flag and touchline. Rodney and Worrall the culprits. 

1-0 lucky win will be gratefully received. 

First half we've seen the good and the ugly of 442. See was the second half shows.
