What can you say? Tonight was another amazing game.

This Champions League has thrown up some fantastic matches lately. Spurs have been in two of them.

It's hard to know what to say after last night's other epic.

Fantastic entertainment.

We won't see the like of these last two games for a very long time.

Amazing again, what will the final be like? An anti-climax 0-0 settled on pens? I don't think so.

Man City had it won the moment they exited the CL. Fair play to them, just about deserved, and fair play should also go to Liverpool who pushed them all the way despite losing Oxlade for the entire season and also Coutinho for half of it. If they can beat Spurs in the final next month then they can look back on a truly outstanding season and look forward to another title challenge next year. Beating a good Wolves side who are better away from home, despite being physically and mentally knackered this afternoon, was some effort.

Seeing United lose at home against a relegated side that couldn't score the toffee has made the day that little better however. The players have to take a lot of the responsibility but I bet everyone at the club is regretting the day they offered Solskjaer a contract. He seems a lovely bloke, sure, but I wouldn't want him managing the Vale.

This thread shows how low United have fallen as a club. How can any United support laugh at Liverpool after just being beat by a relegated side on their own turf and finished what, 30 points behind Liverpool? That's the equivalent of 10 wins.

The way things are going they'll be a club that's fighting to finish in the top 10 in a couple of years.

Anyone who thinks that modern day football is the working man’s game should take a close look at City’s disgraceful presentation of the Greed Is Good trophy this afternoon.

There were more “support” staff than occupy the Bycars on match days, more coaches than National Express and the way Guardiola was presented made me sick to the bottom of my capacious stomach. I find it difficult to find the appropriate words to truly express how much I despise top level football in this country nowadays.

How can the common man or woman relate to this charade as their sport ? And to think that Rudge had to hide his one and only assistant Phil Bonnyman in a cupboard so as Bell could not find him to relieve him of his duties.

The day City, Utd, Chelsea etc et bloody cetera disappear into this much mooted European League cannot come soon enough for me.

I apologise if I have not made my opinion too clear.

You've made a good point.

Basically,it's a closed shop for the 'Elite 6' with the other 14 fighting to stay out of the Championship.
